Bobbie is a realtor and developer with Keller Knapp. She has closed over $15 million in commercial and residential real estate deals, including setting new benchmarks for residential sales in the Southeast Atlanta neighborhood of Boulevard Heights, as recognized by Urbanize Atlanta.

In addition to serving on the board of Friends of Chosewood Park since 2021, during which time the committee raised over $3 million in private and public funds, she was recently appointed by the Atlanta City Council to the Atlanta Beltline Affordable Housing Advisory Board. This prestigious position recognizes her expertise in and commitment to addressing the critical issue of affordable housing in Atlanta.

Motivated by her three-year-old son, Zo, Bobbie is equally passionate about creating healthy access to parks and green space for all. Her hobbies include roller skating , cooking, and gardening.

President of Friends of Chosewood Park

Taryn is an appellate attorney with the United States Department of Justice. She reinvigorated Friends of Chosewood Park in 2021 and has served in multiple board positions since then. Under Taryn's leadership, Chosewood Park has been named Trees Atlanta's Neighborhood of the Year in 2022.

In 2023, Taryn received a Park Pride Inspiration Award for her leadership on the Friends of Chosewood Park committee. She completed Trees Atlanta's Forest Stewardship Training Program and is currently enrolled in Park Pride's Park Stewardship Academy. Taryn received her J.D. from the University of Georgia and her B.A. in Political Science and French from St. Olaf College.

Taryn is a speed demon on both her feet and her bicycle. She is also a classically trained violinist who now plays a mean fiddle with the local band, The Crooked Roots.

Treasurer of Friends of Chosewood Park

Lan is a Vice President of Performance Improvement at a boutique healthcare management consulting firm. She has held various board positions in the past and currently sits on the Alumni Advisory Board for the Georgia State University Institute of Health Administration. Lan received her MHA and MBA from Georgia State University and her B.S. in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She served as a Georgia Army National Guard officer. In her spare time, Lan enjoys bike rides to coffee and beer with her wife and their dogs.

Secretary of Friends of Chosewood Park

Nate is a researcher and product strategist in design technology. He brings event planning and community organizing experience from numerous professional organizations, including American Institute of Architects Young Architects Forum of Atlanta, where he serves as President, and Out of Architecture, where he mentors young architects in their career decisions.

Nate is most passionate about how Chosewood Park brings people together every single day. He constantly hears from people how peaceful and beautiful the park is. He hopes to continue to invest and improve park facilities and bring more people together for community events and recreational activities.
