About Jalen Simmons
As the owner and founder of JMixtape Productions, Jalen Simmons creates and markets strategic content for student athletes seeking exposure and scholarships to play at the collegiate level. With over 10 years of experience in videography, photography, and film editing, Jalen has developed a unique platform that attracts coaches, scouts, and recruiters who follow his work. Passionate about video production and storytelling, Jalen is constantly involved in activities that hone his skills. He received a Bachelor of Science in Technology and Applied Design from Berea College, where he also played basketball. He also works with some of the largest organizations in Film & Television including NBC, Own Network and more. When he’s not on a huge set, Jalen spends his time networking and connecting to apply his directing, producing, camera operation and editing skills to produce engaging and high-quality films.
